about the journal

This academic research journal is a cross-discipline endeavor made possible by the initiatives and coordination between different Business Management programs of AIMS. Since the yields of this journal originated from the different areas of Business Management, varied concepts and ideas were tackled with an intention of surveying major issues and opportunities in business management. The areas of coverage of this journal is the basis for making studies that would set a line in identifying issues and opportunities in Business Management. From the results of these studies, it will become the starting point for AIMS students to brainstorm and strategize possible solutions on problems innate in their respective industries. Hence, the title “Benchmark” was conceptualize for this journal. As a research platform primarily for business related topics, the academic journal seeks to publish articles across the whole range of topics and issues concerning business management subjects, but with a particular focus on the following subject strands:

  • Entrepreneurship
  • Quality Control and Developmen

benchmark

Benchmark, as defined, “is a standard or set of standards, used as a point of reference for evaluating performance or level of quality.” In application, the studies herein will be relegated as benchmark, or “point of reference,” of studies under the AIMS Business Management programs, and endeavor that AIMS imbibe. That is, doing studies one step higher from that of the set benchmark.
