The doctorate program represents the highest level of achievement in any academic discipline. The Doctor of Philosophy in Maritime Management (PhDMM) of the Asian Institute of Maritime Studies (AIMS) is the highest level of achievement in the field of maritime administration and management. The program is vertically aligned to the Master in Maritime Administration program being offered by the AIMS-Graduate School with various specializations.

Completion of the MARAD program will enable the graduates to acquire broader knowledge and skills in the management and operations of either private or government maritime organization. This provides them better opportunities to pursue other higher personal endeavors, whether in business or in career/professional advancement.

Professionals working in related or support industries such as those in the land haulage or trucking business, logistic services, import and export, and cargo handling business are highly encouraged to enroll in this program.
Completion of MCA degree allows the graduate to equip him or herself with highly specialized knowledge and skills in the administration and operation of organizations involved in customs matters. The master�s degree enhances the qualification of the graduates to apply for higher level positions in both private and government organizations.
The MCA is designed specially for entrepreneurs, professionals, technical and non-technical personnel within the private and government organizations involved in customs brokering and customs and tariff management, supervision and operations.
